Trailfinders sports club wedding | Katy & Joe
You never quite know what weather to expect at a wedding in December. Luckily Katy & Joe’s wedding was on a lovely winters day, not too cold, with lovely soft light from the thin layer of cloud.
Katy & Joe were a pleasure to photograph and were happy & smiling all day. It was worth being at their wedding if only for the speeches, which had me smiling & sometimes laughing behind my camera.
St Mary’s is a beautiful church to have a wedding, I was able to move around the entire church without anyone noticing me, so I got some great shots of them saying their vows and parents reactions behind them. We even managed to squeeze in some shots of Katy & Joe before we finally lost the light.
At Trailfinders we were greeted by the usual great service and faultless organisation. Katy & Joe moved around the tables chatting to guests before sitting down for the speeches. With two best man speeches, Joe was always going to get a rough ride, but in the end it was all good fun.
After Katy & Joe’s first dance everyone piled onto the dance floor and as I left everyone was still having a great time.
