Wedding photography at The Oyster Shed
Katy & Colin’s wedding was always going to be fun. The locations they chose for their wedding day and the way they went into it meant everyone was going to love the day. After meeting up with Katy & Colin at The Royal Exchange a few weeks before their wedding, we had all the timings and arrangements sorted. As usual I had a wet weather backup and thank goodness I did! From arriving to be with Katy while she and her bridesmaids got ready, to the end of their ceremony at The Little Ship Club, it rained consistently. I was worried it wouldn’t stop all day, but halfway through the formal group shots the sun came out and we had glorious sunshine for the rest of the day! The gorgeous weather we had once we arrived at The Oyster Shed totally made up for the rain.
The atmosphere at The Oyster Shed was fantastic, not only that, but the light coming through the huge windows all down one side was beautiful, both things making my job very easy. The gorgeous beef supplied for the wedding by Katy’s dad John, helped too! I have to thank bridesmaids Alice, Patrice & Kate for making me laugh on the way to the group shots and of course Katy & Colin for being so cool headed and obliging when I took them off for some gorgeous shots in the sunlight around London.
